18 "queens" aspire to win the title at the Drag Queen Gala of the Arrecife Carnival. Next Sunday, starting at 9:30 p.m., they will parade before the jury composed of 11 members, among whom there are designers, communication professionals, celebrities?, without the event organizers wanting to provide specific names "in order to create more expectation among the public."
Hosted by drag Kimba Ébola, who will be accompanied on stage by Manu Llanes, the opening of the gala will be performed by the Gran Canaria ballet Collage. Performances and transvestites will also offer a show on this night in which "Las Nancy Rubias" will provide the musical note to the night. The Lanzarote ballet Liberty Dance will also show its art to the public that will attend the Fairgrounds.
This year the capital City Council has modified the rules and has established the grant to the winner for his transfer to the Drag Gala of Las Palmas de Gran Canaria of the following year up to 3,000 euros.
