The craft market celebrates its fourth anniversary with music from the municipality's Folklore School

Crafts have a date every Sunday in the Plaza de Haría. At this point in Lanzarote, the island's artisans gather to show and sell the best of their specialties. This Saturday this market celebrated its fourth anniversary. To celebrate, the town hall organized a musical day. It was the Folklore School of the municipality that was in charge of playing traditional Lanzarote music throughout the morning. Afterwards, a toast was offered to the artisans who exhibit their articles every week.

Large number of visitors

This market brings together a large number of visitors who were surprised this weekend by the commemoration. In this way, everyone enjoyed this small party that pays tribute to the artisan work that is done on the Island. The idea of launching this small fair arose because Haría concentrated the largest number of artisans on the Island. At first, about forty professionals met, although this number has already grown to fifty who have found a good commercial outlet for their products in this way.

Traditional crafts

Those who come to the market can enjoy traditional crafts in objects such as palm dolls, baskets or rosettes. In addition, you can see the most modern designs in other materials such as silver or ceramics and different styles in the paintings. You can even enjoy the typical gastronomy in the sweet stalls or opt for the healthiest food since organic vegetables are also sold.
