The Civil Guard is looking for the person responsible for pointing a laser pointer at a plane that connected Gran Canaria with Lanzarote, at the height of the north of Fuerteventura.
According to reports from the social networks of air traffic controllers, the pilot of the plane reported that he was suffering flashes from a laser.
The controllers have informed the Civil Guard of this fact, giving the coordinates in which the pilot reported the presence of the laser pointer. In addition, from the social networks of the controllers they recall that a laser pointer can be considered "a weapon" for pilots, and that it can cause "a plane crash or blindness."
