This typical Christmas plant can be seen in every corner of the municipality

Easter in Arrecife

The Arrecife City Council started last week the planting of 12,000 poinsettias throughout the capital's neighborhoods.

“We want to further beautify the city, and in this Christmas season it is customary for the Arrecife City Council to plant different poinsettias throughout the municipality,” says the mayor of Arrecife, Astrid Pérez, who emphasizes that they will reach “all the neighborhoods of the capital.”

It was this Wednesday, December 7, when municipal workers began planting these plants in the flowerbeds, parks, gardens, roundabouts and medians of the municipality.

“We will reach everywhere, so that all Arrecife residents can enjoy the beautiful image of the typical poinsettias,” says the Councilor for Parks and Gardens, David Toledo.
