The World Circus returns to Arrecife for the second consecutive year

The [Gran Circo Mundial->http://www.grancircomundial.com/] has already been established in the Arrecife Fairgrounds, where it will remain until July 24. The performances will take place daily from Friday, July 11, a day in which the show will take on special importance, as all the funds raised will go to the [Polisario Front->http://www.saharalibre.es/], which will invest them in educational programs thanks to the collaboration of the [University of La Laguna->http://www.ull.es/].

"We want to give the circus a solidarity character and thus be able to collaborate with the people of the Sahara, who will receive educational support thanks to a collaboration agreement with the University of La Laguna," said Sergio Peñate, director of the Gran Circo Mundial.

During the presentation of the events, which took place in the [Terraza Biosfera->http://www.labiosfera.com/], the Councilor for Festivities of the Arrecife City Council, Víctor Sanginés, as well as the director of the Gran Circo Mundial, Sergio Peñate, were present, accompanied by the representative of the Polisario Front, Mohamed Salem Dahla.

"We want to thank all the people of the Canary Islands and especially the University of La Laguna and the Gran Circo Mundial for their collaboration in our cause", commented Mohamed Salem, who invited everyone to attend the special session on Friday, whose funds will contribute to the development of the front.

Within the same press conference on the circus acts, there was a show by a contortionist who shot an arrow with her feet, managing to hit a target, placed several meters away, in which there was a balloon.

The circus schedules will be every day at 5:45 p.m. and 8:15 p.m., except for Sundays and Saturday the 19th, where there will be a morning session at 11:00 a.m. in addition to those established in the afternoon.
