The well-known China restaurant in Puerto del Carmen has turned 30 years old. To celebrate its opening, the Chang family held a dinner, in which they offered a new menu. Thus, coinciding with this anniversary, the establishment has incorporated a surprising Chinese gourmet menu into its cuisine, based on varied tapas of oriental gastronomy.
Colleagues from the media of Radio Lanzarote, La Voz de Lanzarote or Televisión Canaria, among others, as well as hoteliers and, of course, lifelong customers, did not want to miss this event.
The Chang family arrived in Lanzarote in 1976, coming from Las Palmas. As soon as they settled on the island, they founded the China restaurant. Many Lanzarote residents were able to taste imperial rolls, sweet and sour meat, three-delight rice or ice cream with nuts for the first time. The locals ended up putting the label of "the lifelong Chinese restaurant" on this establishment.
Now, this popular restaurant is 30 years old, thanks to the management of the Chang family and, currently, of Yolanda, one of the promoter's daughters.
