Health and beauty treatments, therapeutic and relaxation massages, organic food and pastries, tattoos and natural cosmetics, articles for children made with organic products or specialized books are part of the attractive offer shown by the dozen stands installed on the Central Avenue of Tías on the occasion of the celebration of the 1st Health and Beauty Days.
Organized by the Tías City Council through the Commerce Area -with the collaboration of the Tías Business Association (AET) and the Federation of Small and Medium Enterprises of Lanzarote (Felapyme)- in order to stimulate the Open Commercial Zone of Tías, the Days also include sports exhibitions, performances and dance classes, children's games and a bicycle march.
The first deputy mayor and councilor for Commerce of the municipality, Jerónimo Robayna, thanked during the inauguration of the Days held on the afternoon of this Thursday for the collaboration provided by both the AET and Felapyme for the development of the same, as well as the Canary and central governments for their financing through the European Feder funds.
For his part, the president of the AET, Nicolás Santana, expressed his gratitude to the technicians of the City Council and Felapyme, as well as to the board of directors of the Tías Business Association, "for the effort made to carry out these Days", which -he added- "will certainly not be the last".
Santana also had words of gratitude for all those people who come to the Central Avenue of Tías to enjoy the complete health and beauty offer, as well as for the participating companies: Nelly Arena, Hospiten, Spa Beatriz, Finca 3 Peñas, Ecochinijos, Senderismo Lanzarote, El Rinconcito, Librería Lanzarote, Iguana Ink Body Art, Cosmética Estela, Stanhome/Kiotis, Fisioterapia Oneida and Andy Brot.
This Friday, parallel to the opening of the stands, the celebration of children's activities was planned from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. From 5 p.m. to 6 p.m. there will be a dance exhibition by Fran Vega and from 6 p.m. to 7 p.m., soccer.
On Saturday the 14th, the 1st Health and Beauty Days will also continue at 10 a.m. with children's games, inflatables and animation. At 12 noon, the bike march will take place through the Open Commercial Zone of Tías, to proceed to its closure at 1 p.m.
