The casting for the 5th Isla de Lanzarote Song Festival ends on Saturday in Tinajo

Many young people attended the first casting for the V Festival de la Canción Isla de Lanzarote, which will take place next April. The festival organization moved to the island of Gran Canaria once again in search of new musical talents, and the organization returned to Lanzarote very satisfied with the high level of young talents that the Islands have.

The jury for this edition is made up of Oliver Morales, winner of the third edition of the festival; Chedy de León, winner of the fourth edition; Alejandro, winner of I Want to Be Like Pepe; and Walter, finalist of the Factor X program.

The final casting will take place next Saturday in Lanzarote, specifically in the municipality of Tinajo, in the Social Hall of the town. The scheduled start time is 4:00 p.m. and those interested in participating will have to go to the place of the celebration on the same day to register, where they will be accompanied by the musical base they choose in CD format.

Participants who are interested in presenting themselves to the casting with a song in English must also defend another in Spanish, and in the event that they pass the casting, the members of the jury will assess whether they will sing in Spanish or English at the festival. The minimum age for participation is 16 years old.
