The Cabildo organizes a walk for the elderly that will run between Playa del Afre and Plaza del Carmen, in Yaiza. It will be held on the coast of the southern municipality next Monday, April 7, starting at 4:30 p.m. Thus, the City Council of the municipality, through the Department of Social Services led by Juana Guardia, encourages and invites all the elderly of the municipality to participate in the Island Circuit of Walks for the Elderly organized by the First Institution.
The walk is of a low level and is 3.5 kilometers long. It will start from Playa de Afre - or de La Cruz - along the pedestrian avenue that borders the coast, in a westerly direction towards Playa Blanca. Once finished, they will regain strength with hot chocolate, music and cards. The arrival is scheduled for 7:30 p.m. The Cabildo de Lanzarote recommends wearing comfortable shoes and clothing.
