The Cabildo of Lanzarote will require the Covid Certificate from this Monday to access its cultural activities

Following the island's entry into alert level 3, the Corporation will begin to apply this measure in compliance with the provisions of the Canary Islands Government.

The Cabildo of Lanzarote will require the Covid certificate from this Monday to access all its cultural spaces and activities, after the island entered alert level 3. This document will be required for those over 12 years and 3 months, who are those who have already had time to complete the vaccination.

The Corporation recalls that this measure is taken in application of the sanitary regulations established by the Government of the Canary Islands for the islands in level 3 and 4, and that had the endorsement of the Superior Court of Justice of the Canary Islands.

Thus, in order to access the activities carried out by the Cabildo of Lanzarote in the CIC El Almacén or in the Teatro El Salinero, it will be necessary to accredit the vaccination against Covid-19 by displaying an official certificate of having received the complete schedule at least 14 days before.

It will also be valid to display a negative result of a diagnostic test of active Covid-19 infection, performed in a legally authorized laboratory with a maximum advance of 48 hours, self-diagnosis tests not being admissible.

Finally, an official certificate of having passed the disease between 11 and 180 days prior may also be submitted.

These control measures will remain in force while Lanzarote and La Graciosa remain at level 3, "and may be extended depending on the evolution of the epidemiological situation".
