The citizen platform Building Inclusion has issued a press release to denounce the "cuts and neglect" of students with Specific Needs of Educational Support (NEAE) in Canarian education. Thus, it has demanded "a dignified and inclusive education" in the archipelago, and they have defended that "every boy and girl deserves an education that respects their dignity, their needs and their potential".

The spokesperson for the platform, Saula Rodríguez, has stated that "education is a fundamental right and, as such, must be accessible to all. In our community, many boys and girls face barriers that limit their development and their ability to learn. It is unacceptable that the lack of resources and specialized support prevents these students from reaching their full potential".

From Building Inclusion they have demanded that the educational authorities of the Canary Islands "commit to guaranteeing an inclusive and quality education". In addition, they have indicated that the demands of the members of the platform are "historical, simple and clear".

Thus, they have requested that "all boys and girls in the Canary Islands have the necessary resources to face their educational life and their integral development with guarantees. Inclusive education is not just an ideal, it is an urgent need that must be addressed". To conclude, she has made a call to Canarian society to "join the cause and to demand a real change" in the educational system. “Together, we can build a future where every boy and girl has the opportunity to shine”, they concluded.

Thus, Building Inclusion has launched a campaign so that this statement reaches more people through this link
