The Bonoloto draw last Friday, October 31, left a prize of 662,701.42 euros in Arrecife. The winner sealed his ticket at the Imprenta Vargas establishment, on Añaza street, in the Valterra neighborhood.
Only one person has guessed correctly in all of Spain. Elimaida Vargas, the person who sold the ticket, is "on cloud nine, super happy" for having distributed "the only first category prize" in the entire country. The winning combination was made up of the numbers 3, 10, 13, 14, 22 and 36, plus the complementary 20 and the refund 8.
The winner automatically played three bets. He invested 1.5 euros and ended up taking almost 663,000 euros. "The bet was not generated by the bettor," explains Vargas, who believes that the lucky one is a man. "I may be wrong, because he hasn't shown his face around here yet. We would like to give him a hug," says this woman, who assures that "many clients" usually go to celebrate what they have won, even if it is "little".
A person who "really needed it"
In addition, she assures that from this administration they always end up finding out who the lucky one is. "Sooner or later we know through neighbors, through family members, because it is commented on in the neighborhood. I would like it to be a person who really needed it. One hopes that someone with that money will be productive both with their family and with society," she says.
Elimaida is already used to giving out prizes and it doesn't hurt her when the money doesn't fall to her. "You may or may not win, but my job is to bring luck and I'm happy as if I had won. It's just that if I win a euro, I already celebrate it," says this excited young woman.
It is not the first time that this establishment has given out such a large prize. On January 25, 2007, it distributed the largest prize in its history of 1.4 million euros in La Primitiva. 90 days before they had also given a prize of about 500,000 euros.
