The Lanzarote Association of Relatives of Alzheimer's Patients receives an adapted vehicle

For the members of the Association of Relatives of Alzheimer's Patients and other dementias of Lanzarote (A.F.A. Lanzarote) it will be easier, from now on, to carry out any type of displacement, after the delivery, by the Caja Rural de Canarias Foundation, of a vehicle specially adapted for the mobility of people with this type of pathologies.

A.F.A. Lanzarote is a non-profit NGO that arises at the end of 1995 due to the concern of families who suffer day by day the consequences of this disease, given the lack of information and resources to deal with it.

The purpose of this association is to improve the quality of life of patients with Alzheimer's or other dementias and their families or caregivers, as well as to raise awareness among the population, institutions and other areas.

The possibility of having, from now on, an adapted vehicle will contribute to making some of the activities of this association easier and, consequently, the life of its members.

The president of Caja Rural de Canarias, Lucas de Saá Padilla, and the manager of the Foundation of this financial entity, Ana Isabel Rodríguez, traveled to Arrecife to hand over the keys of the vehicle to the president of the Association, Manuel Ruiz San Andrés.
