The "Amigos de José Vélez" Collective, organizer of the Isla de Lanzarote Song Festival is already preparing what will be the fourth edition of the musical interpretation contest. To this end, the president of the association, Ismael Montero has contacted several artists from the world of song to accept the invitation to participate in the next edition. For the moment, the singer Lorenzo Santa María has confirmed his attendance as a jury in the next year's 2008 edition.
According to Ismael Montero, Lorenzo Santa Maria has been invited to the Song Festival for being "one of the greats of Rock and Roll and ballad". This Mallorcan has among his greatest hits songs like "Rosie", "Para que no me olvides" and "Si tú fueras mi mujer", among others.
In addition, the organization has reported that this year, as it did in previous editions, it plans to present the official poster of the Song Festival at the International Tourism Fair 2008 (FITUR), with the participants and invited artists.
The "Amigos de José Vélez" collective has not yet closed the list of guests for the contest and continues to contact other prominent national and international artists in the world of song.
