San Bartolomé's theater week kicks off

The municipality of San Bartolomé will celebrate until March 30 the seventh edition of the cultural week of theater. The theater groups will give the best of themselves in the performances open to all audiences and free of charge.

This cultural week has already begun with workshops aimed at students to learn about their theatrical skills, taught by José Hernández, director of Yágamo, and Esther Vázquez, director of Somos. The students who have enjoyed these courses belong to CEIP Ajei, El Quintero and Playa Honda.

However, there is still the bulk of this cultural week to be celebrated. This Friday at 9:00 p.m., the Ajei theater group will perform "Where will my mother-in-law be?", directed by Marisol Arrocha, at the Municipal Theater. On Saturday at 9:00 p.m. it will be the turn of the Raíces del Pueblo group, which will stage "Crimen Pro-Fe-Sio-Nal", directed by Germán Barrios, also at the Theater.

Another of the most important parts of this initiative is family theater. In this sense, the Bambalinas company will stage "The Star Thief" this Sunday, March 23, at the Playa Honda Civic Center. There will be two sessions, one at 5:00 p.m. and another at 7:00 p.m., both free.

On Saturday 29, at 9:00 p.m., it will be the Somos group that takes to the stage "In the mornings", directed by Esther Vázquez, at the Municipal Theater of San Bartolomé. Timaginas Teatro will close the cultural week with the play "One of Pirates", which will take place on Sunday 30 at 6:00 p.m. in the Theater. This is the only play in which you have to pay 6 euros to attend.
