The City Council of San Bartolomé, through its Department of Public Works, has initiated the bidding period for the project called "Improvement and Modernization of the Play Areas of San Bartolomé", which aims to modernize and adapt the space of the children's play areas of the municipality.
This improvement, as explained by the mayor, Isidro Pérez, will be in line with the needs raised by users, with special emphasis on ensuring that the spaces are inclusive and have shaded areas.
For his part, the Councilor for Public Works, Raúl de León, has detailed that "the works aim to modernize the parks, seeking to optimize safety and accessibility during the play of our children".
The budget value by the corporation for these works is 730,735.54 euros, from the Municipal Cooperation Plan 2022; and the execution period will be six months from the start of it.
Likewise, the council has also advanced that the tender referring to the parks in the nucleus of Playa Honda -published last August- has already been awarded, so the works will begin shortly.
