Samanta Cabrera's proclamation kicked off the festivities in honor of San Gerano in the Arrecife neighborhood of Tinasoria this Tuesday, which will extend until October 20. Workshops, games, music and dances are some of the events that will make the attendees vibrate during the five days of celebration
The first deputy mayor and councilor for Festivities, Culture and Local Police, José Alfredo Mendoza, highlighted the work of the neighborhood's residents when organizing the festivities. "I want to show my gratitude to all the residents of Tinasoria because they have put a lot of effort into organizing their festivities, creating a program suitable for the whole family," he said.
Among the scheduled events, this Wednesday, at 10:30 p.m., attendees will be able to enjoy Canarian music with the performance of the Pal Porrón band. On Friday the 18th, the little ones will have fun with the children's workshops, games and crafts, with the collaboration of the PFAE, Animación en Acción, which will start at 6:30 p.m.
On Saturday, the fireworks will be launched at 11:30 p.m. and immediately afterwards the verbena will begin, enlivened by the Lanzaswing orchestra. The festivities will close on Sunday with the popular breakfast consisting of chocolate with churros and the traditional water verbena.
