Salvamar locates a new boat near Lanzarote

There were 44 people on board, including four women and 14 minors.

A new boat has been located on the coast of Lanzarote this Monday morning.

According to the Emergency Consortium, there were 44 people on board, including 26 men, four women and 14 minors, all of sub-Saharan origin.

Once ashore, the occupants of the boat have been attended by the Red Cross, from where they have confirmed that all the migrants were in good health.

With this boat, there are already six boats that have arrived on the island in the last 24 hours with 292 migrants.
