Residents of Yaiza, models at the Pasarela Limones in Playa Blanca

Playa Blanca was once again filled with glamour, elegance and fun last Saturday night. The Pasarela Limones was celebrated there again, which celebrated its seventh edition this year. Organized by the Social Dynamization area of the Yaiza City Council, and with the collaboration of local businesses, the event has the double objective of "promoting consumption and offering an alternative leisure activity integrating residents and tourists", according to the City Council, which emphasizes that this "was more than achieved".

"The absolute dedication of the occasional models, residents of the municipality of different ages, the numerous public that attended and the participating stores made possible, for the seventh consecutive year, the success of fashion and participation in Playa Blanca on a very special summer night", highlights the City Council.

At the Pasarela Limones, located on the street of the same name, the latest trends from local shops in clothing and accessories were exhibited. The spontaneous southerners became mannequins for one night to show off those clothes and accessories. In the middle of the street, the residents of Yaiza paraded with ease before a totally dedicated public, who did not stop cheering and applauding.

"Solidarity and integration" on the boards

But in the Pasarela Limones "there is also room for solidarity and integration", the City Council has highlighted. For this reason, this year's edition included the participation of the Creciendo Yaiza and Pequeño Valiente associations. Children and parents of the Creciendo Yaiza Association had their own space with, even, a raffle of a Spanish basketball team shirt, signed by Pau Gasol and Navarro.

The Yaiza City Council has thanked the residents, shops and different businesses that made this new success of the Pasarela Limones possible for their participation. "Very especially", the City Council has conveyed its gratitude to those stores that starred in the parade with their own passes such as Perfumería Sasha, Joyería Milenium, Blue Marlin, Ketchak, Boutique Punta Limones, Yaremine, Desigual, Boutique Monerias, Casa Salvador, Encuentro Latino, Blanc Dunil  and Pase Especial. The night, which began with the musical performance of Carmen Montero, ended with applause and with the complicit smile of participants and public.
