Puerto del Carmen celebrates this weekend one of the most anticipated festivals by the German community. The Plaza de Las Naciones, next to Los Pocillos beach, will host the new edition of the "Oktoberfest", the well-known Beer Festival. The festival will be inaugurated this Thursday, the 24th.
During these days, operators from the Tías City Council are finalizing the assembly and preparations for the tent area. The Consistory has assured that this festival is "very rooted in Puerto del Carmen" and is part of the activities to boost this area as a tourist destination.
The Councilor for Tourism, New Technologies and Coordination of the Tías City Council, Nerea Santana, has stated that the Consistory "offers all collaboration and help to the organization of the "Oktoberfest Lanzarote" to achieve to surpass the successes of past editions."
The Beer Festival will open between this Thursday and this Sunday, from 2:00 p.m. to 1:00 a.m. During these four days, different live concerts will be offered in the Plaza de Las Naciones.
