At 9:00 p.m., the organizing machinery was set in motion to meet the programmed objectives, an event that they prepare with great attention to detail so that the followers can enjoy the invited cultural groups.
The first to take the stage were the 22 members of the Chigadá band who came from San Sebastián de La Gomera. As soon as they started their performance, they connected with the large audience who very enthusiastically followed them humming some other chorus and accompanying them with applause. The Chigadá band offered a varied and select repertoire where the two most representative instruments of the Colombina island, such as the chácaras and drums, could also be heard. They finished their performance with the "Silbo Gomero", a World Heritage Site.
Secondly, David León, a timple virtuoso from Arguineguín in Gran Canaria, accompanied by two great musician friends, Blás Segura and Roberto Alemán, gave their best. In this way, they offered the public a fabulous show, where the timple, an instrument with such small dimensions, managed to merge with the guitar and percussion, even making itself noticed with great arrogance in some of the songs. David León took advantage of the night to present his first album "Conversando", which includes 14 compositions and where he clearly reflects his most personal stamp.
The third place of the night was occupied by the hosts, the El Pavón family, to which new blood has been incorporated, managing to give the group a fresh air with new voices, new musical themes and a lot of spontaneity in the staging. During the more than 40 minutes of their performance, they never lowered the rhythm as they knew how to make a very good combination in terms of songs, making it very easy for the public to follow them to the end very animated.
The mayor of the Tías town hall, José Francisco Hernández, present at the meeting, received a commemorative plaque for the collaboration carried out by the institution he presides over.
