The various festive events were held from September 20 to 29 in different areas of the town, with activities for all audiences, with the Playa Honda avenue having a major role in the celebration of the program along with other public spaces such as the Civic Center or the Santa Elena square.

The festivities kicked off with inflatables and a toy library, a Fauna Atlántica crafts workshop in collaboration with the FCM, which also had an active presence in the festivities with the screening of the film 'Taro, The Echo of Manrique' by director Miguel G. Swim crossing and XII Hondarock

The activities followed one another, giving way to two of the highlights of the festivities. The aquathlon and the Emma swim crossing were a sample of high-level swimming as in each edition.

The sport continued with the children's soccer tournament and initiation to UItimate-Frisbee, and the festive agenda with theater by SomoS with the performance of 'Las Pérez García' and the XII Hondarock, which staged Caleidoscopio, Metalmorfosis and Opereta Humanoide, also having an information and ecological action point for the festivities by the AAVV Viento del Jable.

The circus on the beach by Circo Aerial de Lanzarote, and the family theater with the performance of 'El pequeño Quijote' brought laughter from the audience.

The program continued throughout the week of September 23 with inflatables and a toy library, puppet theater, chinchón tournament and mixed round, 2x2 bid, Canarian ball 'El Cuartito', zumba masterclass and summer cinema. Also, two family shows were performed: 'La Caja del Circo' and 'Magic Mc Gerry'.

Wind festival, giant water inflatables and concerts

The highlights came this weekend with the 3x3 basketball tournament played at the II Sports Center in tribute to Manuel Domingo Díaz Alayón 'Many' and the afternoon dedicated to the elderly, which was held on Friday, with the performance of the Dúo Borrón y Cuenta Nueva. The III ParrandeHonda also took place, which featured performances by the El Golpito and Gurfines Son los del Puerto parrandas on Playa Honda Avenue.

On Saturday the 28th, the MiniBasket 3x3 tournament organized by the Playa Honda Basketball Club took place on the Explanada de Guacimeta and the basket tournament was held at the Senior Center. At 11 o'clock the Wind Festival began with a kite exhibition, workshops and children's activities, including an environmental awareness and waste segregation workshop and, as in each edition, the kite workshop by Aena Lanzarote.

From 12 o'clock, the little ones were able to enjoy giant water inflatables, including the "largest in Europe" water inflatable slide and a "polar" pool. This activity was also open on Sunday "with great attendance" according to the City Council.

From 4 to 6 pm the 'Emergency Rescue and Maritime Rescue' exhibition took place on the Explanada de Guacimeta, closing the day at 9 pm with the concert of the Tenerife group Son 21 on Playa Honda Avenue, which also had an information and ecological action point 'Danos la lata'.
