The municipalities are beginning to present the activities of the Carnivals for which there is less and less time left. Thus, the Councilor for Culture and Festivities of the Yaiza City Council, Ángel Domínguez, has announced this Wednesday the program and poster for the upcoming Playa Blanca Carnivals. This year the author of the poster was Alexis Hernández Jorge.
The theme will be the fantasy of Egypt in this town in the municipality of Yaiza. Among the various events that will be held, the councilor advanced some of them. There will be children's workshops and street parties at these festivals. On February 22nd and 23rd, music will liven up the public attending Playa Blanca and one of the orchestras in charge of them will be Tamarindo from Las Palmas. Likewise, the Gran Coso del Carnaval will be held on the 23rd and this year, unlike previous years, the Drag Queen Gala will take place on Friday, February 22nd instead of Sunday.
