More than 800 schoolchildren from the different infant and primary schools in the municipality of Arrecife have filled the streets of the capital with color and rhythm this Thursday. Skeletons, witches, vampires, devils, jellyfish, stars... all of them have enlivened the city to the sound of the batucada of 'El Cribo' and the batucadas of some of the schools.

This school parade has already made a place for itself in the program of the capital's Carnival, which this year has the theme "A Carnival of Fear". The event is organized by the Department of Education of the Arrecife City Council, headed by Ascensión Toledo, in coordination with the schools.

The route began at 10.30 am in the vicinity of the Charco de San Ginés. The delegation passed in front of the Town Hall, where it received applause from the government group and the public present. Then it went along Calle Real, until it reached the Charco again, where they enjoyed a fun 'zombie zumba' session.
