Covid Ward of the Molina Orosa Hospital

Molina Orosa Hospital is left without Covid patients, after the last person who remained admitted to the ward was discharged this Tuesday.

This circumstance had not been repeated since mid-December, although then there were only three days when there were no Covid hospitalizations in Lanzarote. After that, the worst figures were recorded in January, with more than 60 people admitted to the hospital at the same time.

The longest period in which Lanzarote did not have any people hospitalized for coronavirus, of almost two months, was recorded last summer, specifically between June 23 and August 16.

Last Monday, the Lanzarote Health Area reported that the ICU had been emptied of Covid patients after a 33-year-old man who had been in intensive care for nearly a month had been discharged. After that, there was one patient left on the ward, who was discharged this Tuesday, without any new admissions.
