Maritime Rescue has rescued two boats near Lanzarote in the early hours of the morning, according to the Emergency Consortium.
There were about 76 people traveling in the two boats, including 73 men and three women, one of whom was pregnant.
All have been transferred to the Arrecife Commercial pier, where they have been assisted by the Red Cross. According to CECOES, the people are of sub-Saharan and Maghreb origin and one of them has been transferred to a health center for various pathologies. The rest of the occupants are in good health.
