The Canary Islands singer **María Cruz**, born in Gran Canaria but with roots in Lanzarote, has been **the seventh contestant eliminated** from **Operación Triunfo 2025**
At the gala held on the night of Monday, November 10, the public chose for their fellow contestant Cristina Lora to remain in the academy and for María Cruz to leave the musical reality show in the eighth gala.
Cruz left the set of Operación Triunfo, broadcast for one season now on a private platform, after a beautiful performance of Envidia, a song by Argentine artist Nathy Peluso.
In the show's signature farewell hallway, Cruz was able to say goodbye to his fellow contestants, who offered him words of affection and encouragement for his new artistic chapter outside the program.
