Lanzarote will travel to the major peninsular cities

Some work meetings with different travel agencies, which maintain collaboration agreements with Soltour and Marsans, is the initiative that the Lanzarote Tourism Board has devised to promote the Island, ahead of the next summer campaign. The objective of these meetings is to attract potential peninsular tourists, for this, the Board will deliver promotional material, such as brochures, posters and DVDs, in addition to making live presentations.

The first of these promotional meetings has already been held on May 9 in Barcelona. In the coming days, Lanzarote will travel to Zaragoza, Navarra or Valencia, thanks to the agreement that the Board has signed with Soltour. As for Marsans, the agenda has not yet been definitively closed, although the next meeting will take place next Monday in Valladolid.

The Councilor of the Tourism Board, Miguel Ángel Leal, believes that with this type of initiative a great impact on the peninsular tourist will be achieved. "This work will lead to an increase in the number of visitors from our country, thus fulfilling one of the great objectives of the Board," said Leal.
