Lanzarote registers 172 new positive cases of Covid

Lanzarote has registered 172 new positives on Monday, according to the Ministry of Health of the Government of the Canary Islands. This is a similar figure to the previous day, when 173 new cases were reported on the Island.

Active cases stand at 6,285, after adding 145 medical discharges in the last 24 hours.

This Sunday 438 diagnostic tests were carried out, a figure even lower than the previous day, which was 500.

The accumulated incidence has dropped 40 points compared to the previous day and stands at 1,695.63 cases per 100,000 inhabitants in 7 days and at 3,223 in 14 days, 68 points less than the previous day.

Since the beginning of the pandemic, 16,109 cases of coronavirus have been diagnosed in Lanzarote, of which 9,762 have already overcome the disease and 63 have died.
