The strong wind that has been hitting Lanzarote these days has left gusts of more than 60 kilometers per hour on the island, according to data published by the State Meteorological Agency (Aemet).
Specifically, the station located at the Lanzarote Airport recorded gusts of up to 63 kilometers per hour on the past days of Saturday and Sunday. Meanwhile, in La Graciosa, intense gusts were also recorded this Sunday, reaching 54 kilometers per hour.
Regarding the forecast for this Tuesday, skies with a predominance of cloudy intervals are expected, tending to partly cloudy during the day. Temperatures will experience little change, with minimums of 14 degrees and maximums that will be between 17 in the northern area and 20 in the south. The wind will blow moderately from the northeast, occasionally strong in inland areas, where very strong gusts are not ruled out during the first hours of the morning.
In addition, there will be a north or northwest swell that could reach 3 to 4 meters in height on the north coast of Lanzarote until the afternoon.
