The active cases of coronavirus have been reduced to 12 in Lanzarote, with four new patient discharges occurring this Tuesday and no positive cases registered for the eleventh consecutive day.
The island remains with 84 accumulated cases, since a total of 67 discharges have been counted since the beginning of the pandemic and five deaths. In the Molina Orosa Hospital there are five people admitted, three on the ward and two in the Intensive Care Unit (ICU), while there are seven people in home isolation.
This Tuesday, 129 samples were analyzed, of which 115 were taken from new patients who tested negative. The rest of the tests were repetitions or controls. In those control tests, a previously diagnosed patient tested positive again. In addition, there are 157 tests from Monday and 63 from this Tuesday pending results.
