The State Meteorological Agency (Aemet) predicts that this weekend the heat will visit Lanzarote and La Graciosa again with temperatures that will exceed 30 degrees. In addition, the wind will continue to blow strongly and there will be haze at altitude.
For Friday, generally slightly cloudy skies are expected, with the presence of some cloudy intervals, especially of medium and high clouds. On this day, temperatures will experience a moderate increase, which will lead to minimums between 21 and 23 degrees and maximums of 32. As for the wind, it will blow from the northeast, with strong intervals, without ruling out probable very strong gusts, especially at night.
As for Saturday, the skies will remain slightly cloudy or clear with cloudy intervals in the north and west at the beginning and end of the day. Temperatures will continue to be hot, ranging between 30 to 32 degrees in areas of the southern and western interior of the island. There will be a presence of light haze at high levels, tending to subside at the end of the day. Regarding the wind, it will blow from the northeast with strong intervals on the southeast and northwest slopes, without ruling out probable very strong gusts in the interior areas.
