"De ida y vuelta",  musical project of the Parranda Raíces, was celebrated with great public success on Friday night on Reducto beach. An event that had to be suspended last November 2016 due to bad weather conditions.  The reason it was held in El Reducto was an initiative of Ciro Corujo together with Raíces, although Corujo did not participate due to the recent death of his father Florián Corujo. A few minutes before the first musical notes sounded, the almost 20 members between musicians and technicians decided to dedicate the concert to him and support the friend and his family.

At 9:30 p.m. the presentation began with the chords of the song, La Casita de Papel. For two hours, with a very dynamic and cheerful staging, they infected the numerous public who from the first moment joined their voices to the group and did not stop dancing to each of the songs on the blonde sands of El Reducto.

During the night, well-known songs such as Que Será, La Canción del Mariachi, Un Beso y Una Flor, Caminar de tu Mano, Vivo en un Archipiélago and many more were played, choosing the Islas Canarias pasodoble for the end. The public, who were having a great time, insisted that they continue singing and Raíces pleased them with two prolonged encores, one to the rhythm of Rock And Roll and the other to the rhythm of Rumba, ending with the famous song by Fito & Fitipaldis, Soldadito Marinero.

Domingo Corujo, brother of Florián Corujo, present at the concert, approached the stage to thank them for the expressions of affection they had had with him and his family by dedicating the concert to them.
