The Local Police of Arrecife informs that, due to the celebration of the San Silvestre popular race “Ciudad de Arrecife” that will take place this Saturday, December 31, the access of vehicles through the Avenida Fred Olsen will be limited exclusively to taxis in the section between the roundabout in front of the Cabildo de Lanzarote and the Secundino Delgado roundabout, between 4:00 p.m. and 8:00 p.m.
In this sense, the access of all vehicles is completely prohibited in the section between the Secundino Delgado roundabout and the Avenida Olof Palme roundabout that gives access to La Marina. The affected roads correspond to the avenues Fred Olsen, Mancomunidad, Blas Cabrera Felipe, La Marina, Coll, Vargas, Eduardo Aznar and Coste and Olof Palme; and to the streets Dr. Rafael González Hernández and Dr. Ruperto González Negrín.
Likewise, due to the assembly and disassembly of the elements necessary for the development of the sports event, between 8:00 a.m. and 4:00 p.m. and 8:00 p.m. and 10:00 p.m. on Saturday, December 31, the access of vehicles will be completely prohibited in the section between the Arrecife Gran Hotel roundabout and Avenida de La Marina at the intersection with Ramón Manchón street. The affected roads correspond to the avenues Mancomunidad, Blas Cabrera Felipe and La Marina, and the streets Dr. Rafael González Hernández and Dr. Ruperto González Negrín.
