The Hotel Los Fariones and the Suitehotel Fariones Playa have been awarded the Tui 2007 environmental award, which for ten years has rewarded hotel establishments for their management in relation to environmental and nature protection.
The wastewater management, water saving measures, reduction and selective separation of waste, energy saving and use of renewable energies and use of biodegradable cleaning products are some of the evaluation criteria that the Tui organization presents each year to win the award.
This year, the Hotel and the Suitehotel Los Fariones, in Puerto del Carmen have been awarded the prize for meeting the standards set by the tour operator.
