Goodbye to the mural of the child next to the maritime avenue of Arrecife

The mural, which was made during an Off Biennial more than a decade ago, will be covered by a residential building that is being built.

Mural next to the maritime avenue of Arrecife

The mural featuring the image of a child, which was painted more than a decade ago on a facade next to the maritime avenue of Arrecife, will no longer be visible in the near future. And it is that, in front of it, a building is being erected that will completely cover it.

This mural is located on a plot of land on Almirante Boado Endieza street, which is on the corner of Avenida Fred Olsen, where construction of a building with six homes and six parking spaces has recently begun. This building will be six stories high, according to construction workers, so the mural will be hidden behind it.

Specifically, the mural was created by Felo Monzón and Tono Cruz during an Off Biennial of Lanzarote.
