The Lanzarote Security and Emergency Consortium has reported that the Cabildo deactivated this Tuesday the Lanzarote Island Emergency Plan (PEIN), which was activated on Sunday after the General Directorate of Security and Emergencies of the Government of the Canary Islands declared the storm alert on the island. In this way, it is reported that all extracurricular and outdoor activities are resumed.
Although the State Meteorological Agency has deactivated the yellow warning for storms that affected Lanzarote at 3:00 p.m., the Security and Emergency Consortium points out that the island is now "on pre-alert", pointing out that it is recommended to "maintain due precautions" until the situation ends.
Finally, the Lanzarote Security and Emergency Consortium reports that the LZ-402 road from Caleta de Famara has been reopened, near the mill area, which had to be closed to traffic on Monday due to the storm. Thus, it is now possible to access the town both by the well-known coastal road and by the beach road.
