The Arrecife Gran Hotel dressed up on Friday night to celebrate the opening of its new facilities, with a party attended by the political and business elite of the Canary Islands, as well as various personalities from Madrid, Barcelona and other Spanish cities. The event, which was full of surprises, began at 8:30 p.m., and allowed attendees to see firsthand the hotel's new services.
It has taken more than six months of work to finish the new pool, which now has a spectacular glass dome that covers the enclosure. With this, the Arrecife Gran Hotel has a heated pool throughout the year, and also manages to protect this space from the force of the wind as it passes through the coast of Arrecife.
In the words of the hotel's director, Luis Miguel Morales, "now the Hotel is equipped with one of the most innovative facilities in the archipelago and in an extraordinary enclave: a pool with a stable temperature throughout the year and free from the scourge of the wind. A place to enjoy in a unique enclave. With this project we have undertaken a high-level engineering work." The location, decorated by Rafael del Castillo, has an avant-garde look in which light is the protagonist.
With these works, one of the most ambitious that the Hotel has undertaken in recent times, Arrecife Gran Hotel becomes one of the best-equipped urban coastal hotels in the country. In addition, they intend to turn the new facilities into "a key space for leisure, professional meetings and social life in Lanzarote."
During the evening, the establishment also presented its new AGH+ Member Privilege program: a pioneering membership program with exclusive advantages for its clients. A new premium service that aims to reinforce the benefits of the capital of Lanzarote not only for vacation and cruise tourism, but also for the inhabitants of the island of Lanzarote.
With this Friday's event, Arrecife Gran Hotel kicks off a new season of activities that will have the pool and its Pool&Bar in full operation every night of the year, with the launch of AGH+ in October and a spectacular New Year's Eve party as the grand finale.
