Canary Islands Car, CICAR, has been present at the Bilbao Exhibition Centre in Barakaldo on the occasion of a new edition of Expocavaciones, which began on Friday, October 1 and concluded on Sunday, October 3.
CICAR points out that a total of 163 participants "were exhibited at this tourism event, with uninterrupted hours and free access, and which the leading car rental company in the Canary Islands has been attending for several years." The CICAR delegation was headed by its commercial director, Ramón Valiente.
This international tourism event has shown "the novelties of the sector, the latest proposals in routes and destinations, and the most innovative leisure and free time alternatives". Attendees have been able to select, choose at the moment and get in situ "what they long for their autumn and winter vacations, once the restrictions to travel due to the pandemic have been overcome," they say from CICAR.
Visitors to the CICAR stand were able to see firsthand "the Audio-guide app of the Canary Islands, which was presented at the International Tourism Fair of Madrid, FITUR, this year". Users of their rental cars, according to the company, "can download the application on their mobile devices when traveling through any island of the Archipelago."
The vehicle company recalls that, at the end of 2019, "CICAR incorporated the first electric vehicles to its rental car fleet, and, since then, the intention has been and is to gradually add new units until completing the ecological transition and having a fleet 100% powered by renewable energies in the shortest possible time."
