Carme Chaparro makes a promotional report about Lanzarote

The presenter of the news on Tele 5, Carme Chaparro has participated in a promotional report of Lanzarote in which she has posed before places as emblematic of the island as the Jameos del Agua, Los Hervideros, Las Montañas del Fuego and Puerto Calero, among other places of tourist interest. The report, which will show the unique landscapes of Lanzarote, will be published in a national publication.

During her stay on the island of volcanoes, the young journalist, who recently joined as a prominent member of the Television Academy chaired by Manuel Campo Vidal, stayed at the Hesperia hotel in Puerto Calero.

Currently Carme Chaparro is a member of the Club de las 25, collaborator in the magazine "Yo Dona", a panelist on Punto Radio and a collaborator in the magazine "Mujer Hoy".

Her professional career

Carme graduated in Journalism from the Autonomous University of Barcelona in 1996 and began her professional career as editor of the TV3 programs Ciutadans (Ondas award), Generació X and "Les coses como son". On the other hand, she made reports for the Sunday supplement of La Vanguardia and was editor of the news services of Cadena Ser in Tarragona and later head of editing of the magazine Zona Alta. She has also been director and presenter of the program "39 puntos de vista" of BTV and was director and host of the weekend magazine "De nou a nou" on Ràdio l'Hospitalet.

From January 1997 she moved to the newsroom of Informativos Telecinco in Catalonia. A year later, in 1998, she became presenter and editor of Informativos Telecinco Cataluña, in the morning and midday hours. She presented special programs such as the electoral ones and other major events and was moderator of the political debates in the regional elections.

Since 2001 she has presented Informativos Telecinco and from September 2004 she became the presenter and co-editor of Informativos Telecinco Weekend and has also been the host of specials such as the death of John Paul II, the 11M and Barajas attacks, Formula 1 Montmeló, the Royal Wedding and electoral specials.
