"Biosphere, art and multiculturalism" will be the three axes on which the XIII Women's Conference will take place, which will be held from November 10 and will feature guests from the world of culture and intellect, both national and international. The motto, in the words of the president of the Mararía Association, Nieves Rosa Hernández, organizer of this event, aims to "highlight the situation of the Island as a Biosphere Reserve, not only from the landscape and urban point of view, but also from the point of view of human development. The importance of the sustainable development of the population".
The day before the official opening of a conference held every year in order to encourage the cultural participation of society, especially women, the exhibition hall of the Charco de San Ginés, will host the painting of Paloma de "Las hijas del Sol", who has been in charge of preparing this year's poster. Then Paloma will give a talk about miscegenation, after which a colloquium will be created around the topic, which is also a peculiarity of Lanzarote society.
In this line, the three days of cultural work will be developed, which will officially begin with the inaugural conference by the director of the Cervantes Institute in Manchester, Yolanda Soler.
