Biosfera TV has announced that the channel can now be seen throughout the island of Lanzarote. "Just tune the signal on the television set to view the channel's programming also in the north and south," they have reported. Thus, from the media they have assured that with this new step "the old desire of the director, Salvador Hernández Nieves, that the signal of his local television can be tuned both in the homes of the 'upper back' and the 'lower back' is fulfilled".
In a first phase, the Biosfera TV signal can be tuned in all northern locations, except in Órzola and some scattered hamlet. The signal has also been extended to the municipality of Yaiza (except the town of Uga), so "the channel can now be tuned by more than 140,000 people, which represents more than 96% of the island's resident population," they said from the media. The town of Puerto del Carmen is also reached.
On the other hand, Biosfera TV has announced that "before the end of 2017, the small hamlets, shadow areas (such as Uga) and scattered areas will be covered, reaching 100% of the island's population with territorial coverage". Thus, from the television channel they have stated that this expansion of coverage has occurred due to their "desire to entertain and inform about the reality of the island".
