"Alone Under the Stars" is the title of Elimaida Vargas's first novel. "It is the story of a girl who got ahead on her own, a story based on the real experience of a person who revealed her life to the world and that my mind rescued to turn it into a novel," explains the writer. A personal trauma that the protagonist, a psychologist from Lanzarote, transfers to her office to apply it to group therapy.
This story was presented last Saturday, October 28th, at the Eurospar Hypermarket in Arrecife. The author of the work herself attended the event and, in addition to explaining the background of the novel, she also signed copies for all those attending the presentation.
Elimaida Vargas began writing stories in her adolescence. At the age of 17, she wrote her first stories, but it was not until she was 19 that this Lanzarote native created her first work, "Alone Under the Stars", which was presented last Saturday. "My hope is that this first novel will teach many human beings that children are not toys but real beings full of life, illusions and dreams," says Vargas.
