Everything ready to welcome Juan Luis Guerra

At 9:30 p.m. Guerra will present his new and successful album La llave de mi corazón, which was awarded six prizes at the last Latin Grammys, where he was also distinguished as Person of the Year. In this new work, composed of eleven songs, the artist and his group try new rhythms such as salsa and ballads and enter the Anglo-Saxon market with two creations in English. In the recital, included in his tour La Travesía, previous hits such as Ojalá que llueva café en el campo or Bachata rosa will be played

The stage measures 22 meters long by 18 meters wide and 14.5 meters high topped by a roof. The structure assembled for the occasion is prepared to support more than 80,000 kilos of weight. About 120 people, including technicians, assembly professionals, sound, video or lighting, have been working for several days to get everything ready in El Reducto, where an influx of about 40,000 people is expected to the concert.

Once the concert concludes around 11:30 p.m., the traditional fireworks display will take place, which will put the finishing touch to the San Ginés 2008 festivities.
