To obtain the scholarship, criteria such as academic record, knowledge of English, participation in volunteer programs and a video of the candidates expressing their motivation and interest in the program have been taken into account.

This exchange program will take place at Purdue University in West Lafayette, Indiana, and will be held in person from June 24 to July 22, 2023.

The student will participate in an intensive English program focused on the global issues facing young people on both sides of the Atlantic, which will address U.S. foreign policy priorities such as fostering the leadership skills of young people, developing democratic values, and engaging civil society.

The Benjamin Franklin Transatlantic Fellowship exchange, sponsored by the U.S. Department of State, aims to foster mutual understanding and build bridges of communication between the United States and other countries.
