Maritime Rescue has rescued a new boat this Wednesday afternoon that had run out of fuel near the coast of Lanzarote, according to the Emergency Consortium.

The boat was located by the Sasemar 101 plane, after Salvamento received a notice from 1-1-2 of the Canary Islands in which it communicated the situation of the boat.

There were 39 people on board the boat, including two women. All of them, in any case, are in apparent good health, according to Salvamento.

The Guardamar Polimnia has transferred them to Puerto Naos where they disembarked at around 7:00 p.m.
