A second boat is rescued near Lanzarote and a third arrives on its own to Las Cocinitas

Between the two boats there could be about 77 people, including a woman and several minors

Two new boats have arrived in Lanzarote this Thursday, October 27. The first of them was rescued by Maritime Rescue near the north of the island with 30 immigrants of Maghreb origin, all of them men, and in apparent good health.

They have been transferred to the Commercial dock where they have been attended by the Red Cross.

Later, around 7:30 p.m., a pneumatic boat landed in the Las Cocinitas area in the north of the island, as reported by the Civil Guard. There were 47 people traveling in the boat, including a woman. Of the men, 19 have declared themselves minors. All are Maghrebi and one of them has been transferred to the hospital. 

With these last two, there are already three boats that have arrived this Thursday to the coasts of Lanzarote. In total, 128 people were traveling.
