A new boat rescued near Lanzarote in the early morning

About 47 people could be on board the boat

The Salvamar Polinmia rescued a pneumatic boat with 47 people on board in the early hours of the morning. The location took place at about 3.45 am this Saturday, May 27 in territorial waters nine miles east of Lanzarote, according to the Emergency Consortium.

There were 40 men, 6 women and one minor on board, all of whom were in apparent good health. All have been transferred to the Commercial dock of the capital of Lanzarote where they have been attended by the Red Cross.

With this, there are four boats that have arrived on the island in just over 24 hours.
