A new boat has been located this Thursday near the coast of Lanzarote, specifically southeast of Arrecife.
According to the Security and Emergency Consortium, there were 40 people on board, including a pregnant woman and five minors.
After the rescue, all have been transferred to the commercial dock of Arrecife, and two have had to be referred to a health center.
Both the woman and eight of the men are of sub-Saharan origin, while the rest are of Maghreb origin.
