The hail has surprised many Lanzarote residents, especially in the municipality of Teguise and Tinajo, which is where it has fallen the most. The Aemet had activated the yellow warning for rain for Lanzarote, but around 1:00 p.m. a good hailstorm fell in the municipality of Teguise, later in Tinajo, leaving "wonderful" images.
For the moment, the rain has only caused the closure of the Lz. 408 that connects the Agroindustrial Complex with Nazareth, so it has been closed according to what they indicate from the Emergency Consortium.
